Shout. to the Lord.......

When George and I and Keith and Katrin were touring the Lake District and the Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales and the surrounding countryside, the song "Shout to the Lord" kept running through my mind as if my spirit or the Holy Spirit was singing within me.

So the interlude becomes the chorus............

"Shout to the Lord All the earth let us sing.....power and majesty, praise to our King....mountains bow down and the seas will roar at the sound of your name..... I sing for joy at the works of His hand .... forever I'll love you, forever I'll stand. Nothing compares to the promise I have in You......"
Katrin and I left the Standing Stones site singing also....

It's August

Well, it's about time I added a new post! I've been waiting for inspiration to hit me. But while I'm waiting, I've been recovering from jetlag...catching up with some of the family around here, checking for news of other members of the family (such as Michal, grounded in Poland by the airlines).

I've had kind and grateful thoughts about all who put us up and put up with us in Britain. Thank you, with love, Keith and Katrin, Nigel, Michal, Ray and Bev, Sophie, and Andrew and Olivia. The gift of hospitality is very alive and well in England.

I have many wonderful experiences from our trip to Britain and I've been savouring the memories while adjusting back to my busy, exciting life of renovations, family, church, grandchildren and the beautiful surroundings of Vancouver.

I'm also on vacation......supposedly rejuvinating and regaining energy for the return to teaching in September. But should one lie around to rejuvinate!!!!!????? I'm outa here. I believe I might be heading for Keats tomorrow with Kerry and I'll be heading with my man to Kelowna later in the month. Yeah! Rejuvinate! rejuvinate! (I think for me, rejuvinating is getting those endorphans and the metabolism working.)

So, as soon as the inspiration hits, I'll be writing a post. Meanwhile, just consider this an interlude. (la la la la lalala la lala lalalalala :)
