Halloween is over! :)

Halloween is over both at school and around the neighbourhood. Yippee! At school I donned my bicycle helmet, all my reflective riding gear including extra bike lights borrowed from my man, a reflective vest from the office at school and a red homemade yarn wig and called myself "the reflective biker"! I wish I had a picture. I might be able to get one from school..hmmmmm. If someone asked me what I was....(my students thought I looked like a bug!)....I would tell them I was a "reflective biker" or maybe....a "thoughtful person".?!
Whatever!!
I hope you all had a peaceful and safe Halloween.
Take care and enjoy the candy.
THEN brush and floss! Right, Dinah?

Hallowe'en costume....what shall I wear!!??

This is the mystery of blogging. Do people check to see if you've added anything? Laura (Da Koch Blog) and Michal (W.I.T.W.I.M.) have discovered how to add a map to their blog site..... Smart!
Well, I have a question for you. On Hallowe'en Day, the staff and students at Grenfell are having a costume contest. Usually I show up without a costume or I scratch my brain at 11:00 pm the night before and don't come up with much of anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? I seem to recall Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy costumes in the past.
What should I do? I'm not into witches or ghosts or even pumpkins for that matter. I also have to teach and don't want to be incumbered by two much bulk. So? .....?

Hello all you loyal people ....

Hello all you people who check this blog to see of I've put anything new on it. Well, this is my latest update.
I am happily busy teaching and working around the house community... I love getting up early, having a quiet, enjoyable breakfast with George and then taking off on my bike for an early morning 40 minute ride. Biking to and from work has become my commuting mode of transportation. Rain or sun can't stop me. Tired muscles encourage me to take a day off once in a while. Last Tuesday, gusts of 50 kmh. winds blowing directly on me seemed to try to reverse my forward motion towards home. I won, of course! And the ride only took me 1/2 hour longer!
Take care.....
