those characters in my class......

Just a little thought...... I gave a task to my class: a review of the year with specific open ended questions to be answered. One of the questions was "What surprised you in Grade 4?" I was surprised by the answers. Most of the students said they were surprised how hard Grade 4 was. I realized that this group of students have worked very hard all year doing their best! Wow!!! What a group!
Yeah, I like them, like them a lot. They are set up for life, if they continue working their best.

I'm proud of them, very proud.

camping in May

Last month Geo and I went camping with two of our daughters and their families and another young family. The weather was lovely on this very warm May long weekend. Here is a picture or two to prove it. I have finally learned to upload pictures...

It's been a while

Hi

I am suffering under an increasing pressure from report cards and recovering from dental surgery. Right now I'm also very tired.

Do I sound dismal enough? I need a good sleep, some sun, and then tomorrow will look much better.

Did I tell you I'm taking my class swimming tomorrow? Then they are going to perform at an assembly on Wednesday? Did I tell you they are starting to act as if it just turned July instead of June. I suppose it's the fact that the new month starts with a "J"....but so does January. I think the students can smell summer coming!

I can't ..... but I will soon.
